​​North Indian boiled Dumpling Phara



For stuffing


2 cups soaked chana dal
5-6 cloves of garlic
2inch piece of ginger
Salt to taste

For the dumpling skin

2-3 cups whole wheat flour
2 teaspoon vegetable oil
Salt to taste
Water to knead

Method
Grind the chana dal with ginger and garlic add salt to taste in a thick paste without adding additional water keep aside
Knead the dough and keep aside for half an hour
Make small balls of dough flatten then in circles, stuff them with the stuffing mixture,seal properly to form gujhiya like formations.
Boil them till cooked properly in a pan with boiling water salt and oil.make sure the water is boiling before you add pharas to it.
